Founded in 1993, Monte Pascoal S/A acts in the kaolin mining, focusing on the Brazilian market, trying to develop the ideal product for each client.

Our installations are located in Prado, a city in the south of the Bahia state, and we own the mining rights of an area with approximately 30,000 hectares. Our mines have more than a 100 million ton capacity, and have an exhaustion perspective of more than 200 years. Our industrial plant has a productive capacity of 60,000 annual tons. Due to its nearness to the great industrial centers of Brazil, Monte Pascoal’s kaolin is extremely competitive, generating a great amount of economy to our clients.

We also have an international agreement with ENGELHARD CORP. USA, the world’s biggest kaolin product producer, to research and develop products specifically to the Brazilian Market.
